How do you price your candles?

Our candles are priced based on the real cost of clean materials and thoughtful labor. We use a premium natural a soy and beeswax blend, which burns cleaner annd longer than paraffin, but costs significantly more. Our fragrance oil is premium grade and we researched SDS sheets to make sure it’s non toxic and free from harmful compounds like coumarin (toxic to cats).

What do you mean by pet friendly?

By pet friendly, we mean that we use materials that are non toxic to wildlife. Our waxes are a natural blend of beeswax and soy wax, and our fragrance is currently vanilla fragrance oil. We refrain from using essential oils as many of the plants in essential oils are toxic to cats, even if they are natural. Please remember to keep open flames away from your pets and do not let them ingest the candles.

Is there a candle care guide?

Yes. Please refer to this candle care guide. Estimated burning times will be listed on the candles description bio. Please burn no longer than 2 hours at a time or less.

Will the candles look perfect?

Unfortunately no. Our candles are handmade by batch or per order, which means that there will be a slight variation or minor blemish here in there in the wax.

Do you use acrylic paint for candles?

Absolutely not. Although acrylic paint speeds up the process of candle making, it is extremely dangerous as it needs to be mixed with a medium like resin which is highly flammable and toxic to breathe in. To keep our candles safe and natural, I hand paint each and every candle with soft soy wax and a bit of natural colored dye block which means slight imperfections and longer crafting times. :(
